Why are some people always angry, bitter and twisted?

There are people out there who just seem angry at the world all the time. Argumentative. Arguing in a vacuum. Heckling. Trolling. No nice word for anyone. Always moaning. Highly strung. Miserable. Bitter. Twisted.
You could pay them a compliment and they would throw it back in your face. Or find something negative in your compliment. If you say the sky is blue, they say no, it's red.
I like people from all walks of life regardless of where they are from but I just don't have time for these types of people. Of course, that's not to say if they are nasty towards me I'd turn the other cheek
How do you think people end up like this?

low self-esteem perhaps? 'issues' from their past that continue to haunt 'em?

I think you might be right there! I especially find it bizarre when someone who doesn't know you attacks you online, which has happened to me a few times, with the latest incident only last week here on MyLot. I think the person is just miserable within themselves but they're certainly barking up the wrong tree - I'm no doormat LOL

@crazyhorseladycx Yes, it's sad but not something I dwell on. It was on my post and this crazy person went on and attacked me about something I wrote. To be honest, I quickly decided she was inconsequential, just a mean, horrible person and decided to rise above it. You do the same, my friend. Don't let any of these toxic people steal your joy - they are NOT worth it.
I agree with you; not worth the energy and time. Probably miserable, vile people who feel better putting someone else down. Oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear about your experiences here. IGNORE them and carry on with your life. It's not on you, it's on them. Focus instead on people who actually add something to your life, not those who dictate to you how you should be. Why on earth should you conform?!
Yes, I think because I'm 'sweet' and friendly some people mistake that for being a pushover LOL But I don't suffer fools gladly and can definitely defend myself. But this latest fool - I didn't have the energy to argue. I chose to simply ignore the whole thing and move on.

@Lushlala most saddened such happened to ya here, hon. i believe they feel that since such's 'nline, there'd be no consequence so i hope ya reported such'n 'ssault. happens to me here, 's some 're downright 'ffended by my dribblin'.
those folks're jest not worth yer time 'r 'nergy. they seem to get 'ndorphins released which temporarily make 'em feel good 'bout 'emselves when ya react - their 'haviors do not change.
some've e'en the audacity to print that if'n i'd use 'proper english', i'd be more successful. whilst such's logical, 'tis not my goal'n life. i prefer livin' out'n the shadows'n jest be myself.
proud 'f ya fer not bein' one :) grateful that'cha tolerate myself. many've requested i not respond/comment, loads here've blocked me out'ta fear i'd do't anyhow.
