Day 64 Promise 522 John 6:37 All who the Father gives me shall come to me; and him who comes to me I will in no wise cast out. Have you been left out of social events? Do you know rejection? Is it hard to belong? Many people find themselves in these situations. Jesus told the people He would never reject anyone who came to Him. As Christians, many of you knew acceptance for the first time in your life. It felt good to be accepted. When you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, it was because the Father selected you as His child and sent the Holy Spirit to lead you to Jesus who accepts everyone. John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore who hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, comes unto me. Does that mean there are people God does not call to be His children? No. He wants everyone to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (KJV) Everyone is accepted. No one is turned away. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for calling me to be Your child.
