Political ideologies really seem to drive people apart. That being said, do you think you could be in a serious relationship (spouse or partner) with someone with a different political ideology from yours?

Yes I could, as long as the person doesn't force me to think like them I am okay with it.

@pitstop if I was active politically, it'd be hard to manage it. But I am easygoing when it comes to politics.

@pitstop I watch the news in another room from my husband because I do not appreciate his comments about it. I wish we could have great interesting discussions about our views, but we can't. So, I just avoid discussing.

Well, it would not be hard to have an agreement of disagreement. I feel one must have rationale to justify his political preferences but it is ubiquitous to notice that people have perennial hatred and prejudice to certain leader or political party and they keep speaking cult of the governance regardless of any valid reasons.
