Recovery

Sometime between 3 am and 4 am i developed a monster headache. No one has ever said that I have migraines, but on occasion I get these severe headaches that nothing seems to help.
I took some medicine for it at 4, then slept, finally until after seven.
I hurt all the way down my neck and spine. Today we missed church. I am trying to do some recovery and taking it very easy.
I will make sure to drink lots of healthy fluids. I believe I was dehydrated yesterday.
Tomorrow I will go begin some work at the dentist. I will take impressions for a crown and use the last of my last year's flexible spending funds. I also got dental insurance this year and I will use that to make the bill manageable.
If there is a substitute for me I will take off until after lunch.

I don't get head aches and anyone who does, I have respect for you! I've had two headaches in my life and they are the worst imaginable suffering, I've ever experienced!

I have not had one like this for a long time. I am wondering if it is because I got dehydrated yesterday.

@just4him Well they had to take care of some decay on that tooth and were afraid I would need a root canal, but I did not. They put pins in to hold the crown and I came home with a temporary.

I was glad to get started with the dental work. I do not get this type of headache often at all. I am hoping good hydration and proper foods keep them away.

They were able to keep the sub for me. Sometimes they are so short of substitutes that she gets switched over. It did not happen this time.

@GardenGerty I bet, I hate headaches. One time I was getting some that felt like I was being stabbed in the side of my head, they called it Ice pick headaches and they lasted for 4 days. I was glad when they left

It sounds very horrible what you went through. On top of that then you have to go to the dentist.

Those kinds of headaches must be so painful. Have you considered going to a doctor for a check-up?

I have tried to talk to the doctor. The headaches do not happen often, but if they did I would be pressing for more help.

I decided that was something I needed this time around. At least until I get these major repairs all taken care of.

I got dehydrated yesterday and that may have given me part of it. I do not get the bad ones much anymore.
