Messy Bedroom... Just Looked...

What is the messiest place in your bedroom as of this morning? I just looked. Why are there 5 pens on my dresser? And that is just scratching the surface! I have 5 hair pins, some lip gloss, a scratch pad and a clothespin. I'm sure that there is more there, but I'm not going to go back downstairs to see what else is on there... but I know that there is other bits and pieces that I don't remember.
I guess that I drop things in passing on my way up to my writing area. The minute I finish here, I think that I will sweep everything of the surface so that I can find new things to leave there over the coming week.
Now it's your turn. You have a couple of minutes to run and take a look because chances are... you won't have a clue until you take a look!

I try to tidy up the desk at the end of the day... but sometimes I forget lol... that's the ten year old coming out in me again!!

@meowch If I could only get into the habit of doing it every single night, it would be a whole lot easier. I just have so many projects going on, things I want to look up that it all gets ahead of me. Just picture an 8 foot desk (somewhere around that) and you can imagine how messy it can get!

@Hate2Iron though I'm shy to admit I feel like I'm 15 year old. I used to jump on the mattress thinking it was a trampoline lol. Sorry to go off topic. At least you can to clean your desk. To be honest I don't know how to start cleaning my desk, or maybe I could just junk the unnecessary things.

Hubby can make quiet a mess of ours... I just open a drawer and push all of his stuff into it. ;0

What's funny is I haven't been sleeping in the loft, which is really my bedroom. I have two birds up there, and a cat downstairs and they have to be separated. So I kind of call the loft the bird room. I'm sleeping downstairs in a day bed. So my bedroom is only messy by the bird cages. Birds are so messy! Seeds and feathers all around that area I have to clean up every day. At the moment my personal mess is on the dining table. I have piled up various things to read and take care of. You can see i'm here and not taking care of them, lol.

LOL... I remember those days. One tiny bird and seed went everywhere. As for a dining room... we don't have one in this house... problem solved! ;)

I can relate to that! Hubby's talking about moving again, so I'm conscious of every room. I don't know what this man has for wanting to move every couple of years. I think he's bored!!

That just reminded me of hubby's work table. I have no idea how he finds anything!! Thank heavens it's in the basement!

Now that sounds like the 8 foot table I'm working on right now. I thought because of the size... that it would stay neat. Nope... didn't happen!

the 'nly mess 'tis the quiltin'/sewin' supplies out'n my dinin' room. i've nowhere to put such 'n still use 'em 's i impatiently wait fer rainfall to see if'n the leak'n my soon-to-be sewin' room 'tis truly fixed.

I sent some rain yesterday... it didn't arrive??? I just looked out the window. We had a 30% chance today and guess what... I'll try sending that your way too!

@crazyhorseladycx It started pouring again hard enough to wake me up at around 1 a.m. and I told it again to head in your direction. We really don't need any more. This morning its dry again, so here's hoping that it moved on to you. ;) We have had frost a few times already and it looks like tonight I will be covering some plants again. I wish I lived in an area where the temps were constant... fall weather would sit quite nicely with me ;)

@Hate2Iron aw, bless ya. i fear such ne'er made 't though. jest 60mph wind gusts, sustained winds to 35mph. 'twas a loud night 's such twisted'n turned'n direction. i'll keep fingers crossed'n an eye out. 'nother front from yer parts to hit here thursday, with a 30 degree drop'n temp. the latter 'f which i aint too thrilled 'bout, but what's a gal to do? to my knowledge'n last check, no chance 'f rain. 'tis jest too dry'n the 'pper atmosphere 'n definitely no moisture here'n the ground to 'grow' such a phenom.

The messiest place is the sink counter in my master bathroom. My bedroom is very neat but my bathroom seems to be the catch all for all sorts of things

We had a new vanity put in a few months ago and there are tons of drawers. Makes life so much easier!!!

I generally try, but the dresser is right on my way upstairs... so I tend to drop stuff as I'm going by! Have to stop that lol!!

OOH... that just reminded me of how our mom would deal with that. Everything that wasn't put away would end up in a huge pile in the middle of the floor when we got home from school. As soon as we saw that pile, we knew we were in for it. But none was mine I want to point out. I shared a room with 2 other sisters. ;) Okay, maybe a little of it was. ;)

I'm always fighting the clutter and choas. A friend of mine said choas rules.
