In Canada, it is the Thank Giving weekend.
Monday, today, is a holiday.
I normally suffer through them, but with COVID-19 making the rounds, having killed 215,000 in the US already, we are not in lock down.
Some places probably should be but they aren't.
I digress. Long holiday weekend and I am staying home not spreading anything but my pants. Weight gain? Yup.
Why? Boredom. I am bored and I know how to cook stuff.
And I cook good. I like what I cook. And I eat what I cook.
Unfortunately, it's collecting.
My best guess is some 25 pounds since March when the fullness of the pandemic became clear.
I am bored stiff.
Everything on TV is repeat or sucks.
We are having an election in BC and I have voted already.
I wasn't even interested to hear what lies the candidates and party leaders had to offer.
I just voted for the least worst choice.
Because we don't vote for who we like. We vote for who we dislike least.
American politics is more interesting, marginally.
Today Judge Amy is auditioning for the SCOTUS in front of the Judiciary Commitee of the Senate.
Boring...
Maybe I could be the next Michelin Man...
