October 12 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good day. I need to get off the computer. I got a lot done here today.
I'm thankful for the time I was here today. I still have a lot of notifications to go through. I'm getting to the older ones. I'm still losing notifications daily, but soon I'll be caught up.
I'm thankful for the therapy session this morning. It went very well with my knee now at 101 degrees. I only have 9 degrees to go and then I won't need to worry about the next surgery.
I'm thankful for my son who brought me ice and took me to my therapy session this morning and then to the store.
I'm thankful for the morning nap I had while I iced my knee after the therapy session this morning.
I'm thankful I'm able to do some of my hourly steps and today I could use my right leg for the steps as I sat to do them. I didn't get all the hourly steps. Maybe I can get them all tomorrow.
Okay, that's my day. I can feel my back tensing up so it's time to get off here and return tomorrow. What are you thankful for today? The image belongs to me. My son and me.

@LadyDuck I will be doing that today. I need to ice my back and sit on my massage pad. I think I figured out why my back went out. It's the knee replacement. When I looked at the x-ray in the doctor's office last week I noticed a gap that wasn't there before the surgery, the usual gap that would be there with cartilage. The other knee doesn't have that gap yet, so there's the slightest difference in the legs. When I have the next replacement the gap will be there in the left knee and my back should be good again. That's my theory. I'll ask the therapist if it has any bearing.
I also found I can bend my knee more easily when I take a nice hot shower. That's how I got it to 101. I know I bent it a little more this morning, but not the full 9 degrees I need. I'll work on it when I do my exercises today.

I'm glad you didn't need any bail funds and your patience didn't run out completely. I'm glad the temps are cooler and the winds less brutal. I hope you see some non-resident birds today.
I'm surprised they drop off in two days. Mine takes a week to drop off.
Yes, everything is coming along well. I'm going to try to get my fitness goals today. Try. If I can get that started again, I'll start the health report again until the next surgery.

@crazyhorseladycx I'm sorry you have another front coming through.
That might be a good idea. I know you know where to find the settings.
Thank you. I'm glad things are working out as well as they have.

Today was Jay's day off, Columbus Day. I always like it when he can have a three day weekend! Two more weeks and he will have every weekend off, for the next 40 years! lol

@kobesbuddy I slept in this morning. I got up at 5 instead of 3. It felt strange to sleep in.
I'm sure it will be nice to sleep in every day.

Thank you. I didn't have therapy today, but I will tomorrow. I'm very happy with the progress I'm making.
I'm glad you're grateful for the breath of life.
