Coffee and Biscuits for Breakfast

A beautiful day with lot of sunshine to enjoy.
Had my coffee in the screen room earlier. The 50s felt very nice with a slight breeze as I enjoyed my coffee. The cats stayed with me as well.
Birds at the peanut feeder. No hummingbirds today. But lots of sunshine to enjoy.
Decided on biscuits, butter and jam for breakfast. You cannot go wring with biscuits, any time of the day.

They look yummy. I had a pecan roll from Publix...not exactly low calorie, but delicious.

@CarolDM They have amazing looking baked goods, and these rolls are very reasonably priced and high quality.

i miss the days 'f homemade biscuits. freshly churned butter drippin' off. sigh... yepperz, biscuits 're good any time 'f day. perhaps i'll master a recipe fer such that 'tis made 'f schtuff i can consume.
still no hummers 've been sighted here's well. cleaned 'n refilled the feeder anyhow, jest a cup full, 'n case some come through.
a calm 'fore the storm day here. barely a leave moves, bright sunlight. the prelude fer 'nother front comin'.

@CarolDM yes ma'am, ya can. but i've yet to find the proper blend 'f such. can't partake'n rice 'r soy flours, none with gluten. makes a fluffy biscuit a dream. i quit tryin' several years 'go. 'tis a spendy venture with those gluten free flours.
we're not to get rain yet 'gain. jest a 30 degree drop'n temps 'n wind. barometric pressure changes cause me lots 'f neurological troubles.

@crazyhorseladycx I am sure you can find an alternative. Sorry about the issues with changes. I do understand. Better than I would like to admit.

Beautiful morning, enjoy a simple breakfast. Of course, happiness is simple, enjoying a cup of coffee while listening to the birds singing, is already extraordinary. Happy, it doesn't have to be expensive. Enjoy the day.
