Friends? Who needs 'em!

Well, actually, we all do. Where would we be without our friends? They help us celebrate the good times and they commiserate with us over the bad times. A true friend isn't afraid to tell you when you've overstepped the mark or been a bit of an idiot. Real friends accept us for what we are - flaws included.
Families, of course, can do the same but the difference is that we can choose our friends whilst we're stuck with our familes!

I don't think anyone has more than 2-3 really close friends - the rest are more like acquaintances

I do like my close friends, but over the years I have learned so many people are out for themselves and really don't care about others much. I have a lot of acquaintances and old work friends, but only a few true friends I really love and trust.

False friends will reveal their true colours over time whereas true friends stay true
