Question of the Day- Favorite Comic Strip?

When I regularly got the Sunday paper I always turned to the comics page first. My favorites were "Peanuts, Dilbert, and The Family Circus."
Why did I like those three?
Peanuts had great relatable characters. Being a kid series many of the strips centered on similar stuff we did in our neighborhood as children. And you could apply those Peanuts character's personalities to your friends too.
Dilbert just struck me as funny. Nerd office humor and how dense Dilbert's boss acted always got to me.
The Family Circus was a strip about the crazy way kids looked at things. It was a one-panel picture depicting some humorous aspect of family life. And... sometimes how chaotic it can be.
Which brings me to my question: What were your favorite comic strips and why? Don't hold back now,

Using a Great Dane as his dog of choice was clever. Astro from the beloved cartoon “The Jetsons” and Scooby Doo are both Great Danes. Must of been something funny about Great Danes

Peanuts for sure! It was always at the top in front - HAD to read that one. Family Circus was always cute and short. I also liked Cathy, Garfield, Calvin and Hobbs, Mother Goose and Grimm . . . oh so many more (just can't remember!).

Yes, nice list there! The Far Side was one I always read. The cartoonist could fit a lot of humor in just one panel.
