while tidying up the kitchen after dinner, sometimes i would play relaxing instrumental music from the tablet to help wind down before bed.
for a change, i picked instrumental harp music last night. i also switched on the yellow cove light above sink, instead of the long white one on the ceiling so it's darker in the kitchen.
i'm glad i tried it. it's much slower than the other concentration instrumental music that i usually choose.
i have attached the link to the harp music i played last night. it is by an original composition by Peder B. Helland of Norway. it is number 53 but also called Purple Flowers. his youtube channel is called Soothing Relaxation.
what i appreciate about the internet and youtube is reading the comments from around the world in various languages and how they used the instrumental music to help them with sick pet, sick child, mental health, etc.
when the comments are in a different language or script, i would even copy-paste them to google translate.
yeah, i'm nosey. hahaha!
what background music or instrumental music do you play?
do you waste time reading youtube comments?
Relaxing harp music for stress relief (called "Purple Flowers") that can be used as sleep music, background music, meditation music spa music and study music...

mother always watches tv, too, but also spends time on her cellphone, texting, playing games, watching cooking and pet videos, reading, and chatting on the landline with my aunts
yes, i think it's therapeutic. i've also tried flute music before.

@crazyhorseladycx they say some keep the tv on for "company"
when i listen to music, it's only low volume so i can still hear what's happening around me.

i tend to listen to upbeat instrumental music when i'm relaxed.
it's really interesting when the script in the comment is different, not abc.

yes, i've seen some comments in similar instrumental music that it actually makes them sad because it takes them back to the sad events in the past

Hey long time no see. Somehow I got disconnected from you but I'll fix that in a moment.
After listening to just a portion I can now go to sleep myself. I used to listen to classical music when I was in my twenties but haven't much since then. It's for a nice sound.

Harp is nice to listen to. There are also twins who play harp and make covers of many popular songs. Their channel is called Camille and Kennerly. Over 600k subscribers. I once lived as a partner with someone and while cleaning the house, I put this music and we had a nice time. I like reading the youtube comments, it gives me new ideas to think about, new things to notice and appreciate in the video.
I also like listening to flute music, accustic guitar...

some like to play upbeat music to keep their energy up, but i find that for me the effect is opposite. i get rattled hahaha!
i've also listened to instrumental versions of pop music. it works for me when i'm relaxed and not doing anything.

Yeah, you are right. The music is relaxing. Maybe it's good if I would play this before going to bed. Thank you for sharing.

Sounds interesting. I have never heard about any instrument apps. I have a new phone and it has an app for relaxation. I tried it and I like the sets of music.

I do believe that music can heal ...I am a great belier in that. I hardly play music but my niece is into that. I like to hear my own thoughts in my head and I find music distracting on occasion.
Yes, I read a lot of the comments on youtube ... but I don't feel it's a waste of time. Some comments are insightful and some a just plain entertaining. I am into BTS music (my niece influence) and I an into a lot of Korean and Chinese dramas.
