What are the specifications of a good lap top that I can use to write my articles, and watch videos every now and then? What primary features should I look for? My budget is only USD $400. What brand and type can hold many files and at the same time, be good for writing and entertainment? I appreciate any help. Thanks.

well, it depend on your needs. you can consult someone who knows computer and you might get a good deal. But recently, the laptops available in the market are all high end which are expensive because the lower specs were bought mostly by students for online classes. Good luck!

Thanks, you have a point. Indeed, the demand has increased because of the new norm.

@Jenaisle Hmmm, how to explain, Acer is the brand name and the models by them are named like Nitro, Aspire, Predator etc.... If you are going to do just browsing the web, typing, things like that, you should do fine with Acer Aspire, But if you are going to use softwares like photoshop or any Adobe and Autodesk software, go with Nitro. Because these softwares are really heavy and Acer Nitro will be able to handle it fine. You can also do gaming on Acer Nitro and Hp Pavilion , Have plenty of storage(1 TB I think) I once did reserch on these and I am still thinking of getting one of these.

Thanks, so Dell is better than HP. That's why I sometimes doubt reviews. It's good to get the information from users themselves.

the most important thing is to look at the memory ram to be as large as possible. they are cheap and good laptops but we sometimes pay the company instead of the product. you need to look for as many offers as possible

That;s right. That's what they call it the RAM. What specific RAM would you recommend. Thanks a lot for the help/
