One Shoe Off - One Shoe On

I decided to try something this morning. I had a thought that since my left leg was that much shorter than my right leg for the moment, and my back messed up because of it, I would try wearing my shoe on my left foot to give it a lift or make it seem longer. I should have thought of this sooner. My back isn't hurting as much right now as it has been the last couple of weeks. I don't feel lopsided either when I'm walking from room to room. I even feel taller. Have you had any good ideas that panned out for the best? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

@just4him That is a very interesting theory. So how did it turn out? Cannot remember if had or did not have.

@just4him It might take a couple of days for all the pain to ease up.

It really is. I can feel some pain in the back but it's so minimal I can handle it. Unlike the last couple of weeks when I was sitting none stop on the heating pad when I wasn't icing my knee.

@wolfgirl569 Yes, it might. I'm glad it is. I can actually see myself being here instead of the laptop today.

@just4him i see, i 'twas mistaken, lol. dad 'd a lifter 'f a diff'rent sort, one which elevated the one boot. 'twas a leather 'heel' that clipped'n. such worked, but he'd many pairs 'f boots...

@crazyhorseladycx This is just a simple thing I put my foot in and lift it to where I need it. What your father had almost sounds like what they gave me at the Therapy center to put in my shoe.

The foot lifter is to help me get my leg up to the bed or into the tub. Right now I only need it to get my leg situated on the stack of pillows prior to icing my knee. It'll come in handy for the second leg in the first couple of weeks. That's when good ideas happen.

Glad to see it is working to relieve pain in the back . Hopefully the left wo't want to be free from the shoe or the right want a shoe for more warmth.

There is that. I don't normally wear shoes in the house so it feels strange to have it on. It feels better on the back though.
