Do you think it’s possible to have a best friend when you’re in your late twenties?

People have the most time to socialize during the school period. They have the opportunity to meet new people during their studies. I don’t think people later in life are that open to make new friendships. Of course people get to know each other at work too. It is possible to meet new people at job. Do you think it’s possible to have a best friend when you’re in your late twenties?

It is not by age. It depends on how your relationship with your friends goes. It is up to you if you can consider your friend your best friend

Sure! If you make the effort and want a best friend then why not? I think many people enjoy the company of others who might share the same interests or attitudes. This opens the door to a close relationship.

It's not about age. I am for sure old by your standards, I'm sure. I have 3 very, very close friends. We all share our lives, talk frequently, and care about each other. When I have needed one or more of them, they have busted butt to help me. And I have helped them. Even if we don't see each other for a long while (ex: pandemic) we still talk on the phone, text, etc. Friendship has no age requirements. But to have a friend, you have to BE a friend.
