Went to a theme park last weekend and I got fascinated by these cars. I just remembered those days when I see this kind of cars in the city streets, oh boy those were the days when I still wear ruffled and lacy dress with shoes and socks. Has anyone driven those kinds?

Maybe you should start wearing those lacy dresses again and buy one such car for long ride with your husband

I love those old cars. Although I was not born till 69 the old 50's and 60's cars are awesome. The oldest car I ever drove was a 56 Mercury my uncle owned till he past. It was a beauty that he use to take to car shows all the time. He also owned a 67 GTO which is still my dream car to own. To bad when he past my aunt sold them for way more than I could afford at the time.

@florelway Yep she sold both cars, they were quite expensive and with all the bills and things she had to deal with I understand that she needed the money. It would have been nice though to get either of those cars.

Those were nice cars. Your aunt should have sold that to you instead at a fair price, just for sentimental reason. What happened to the 56 Mercury did your aunt also dispose it?

@Bensen32 that's sad but you cannot do something if needs take a priority, especially the bills that she has to take care alone. I wish you can have chance to own one soon.

I love vintage cars. Where I live, they have a festival called Hot August Nights that car collectors from around the world bring their vintage cars to display. Except this year:(
