Feeling sleepy all day today...

Feeling rather sleepy today. And the coffee did not help one bit. I have a feeling if I were to lay down on the couch I'd fall asleep and I'd be out for a while.
I finished watching season 7 of Chicago PD today. I am all caught up in time for the new season, which starts November 11.
I have not written any new poems or limericks yesterday. Maybe I will get myself to write something today. And I have to get myself to read the poetry book I borrowed from the library. I wanna get that out of the way.
Gotta figure out what to have for dinner. Most likely, it will be canned soup and one of the frozen chicken packages. We have orange chicken, chicken with vegetables, and I think another variety as well. We also have frozen pumpkin empanadas.

It's been that kind of day for me today, too. I crashed and when I woke up, I felt as if my body was dragging all day long. I suspect it's not one of my better days. I have one of those once in a while. In a minute, I'll pull myself away and take something for my headache. Though, I'm thinking a hot bath might be in order.

Hope your headache goes away. I hate getting those. Thankfully do not get them often. I am tempted to go take a cool shower. Maybe that will wake me up.

I think it has to be the day. There are three of us here on myLot that have said that we are just having a sleepy kind of day.
I dropped my kids off at school and then came home and went back to bed. Then woke up and started my day and didn't even get on myLot until I only had about 7 hours left in my day before I need to shut down and try to sleep.
I blame mine on the insomnia.
Where are you watching Chicago PD? I saw a few episodes on cable but then we got rid of cable. I really enjoyed the show.

Pretty much all of season 7 on the NBC website. The rest on TV. They run reruns on USA, ion, Oxygen, and sometimes on one of my local channels WWOR TV. They have some reruns of season 7 on TV as well but I didn't wanna wait till they air so watched online.

Yep. I've published books too. I made a salad and we had pumpkin empanadas. Since our dinner was after 11 pm I didn't want to do a lot of stuff or anything very heavy.

@rakski Yep. I have poetry books, lyric books, books that have both. Some even have a little prose in them. And then I have one limerick book, one poetic tale, and one novel. And I did two poetry anthologies that has poetry from poets from different countries. With the two anthologies that is 14 books in total.

I am better today. We are gonna have chicken wings today and roasted butternut squash. Yesterday, I made a salad and we had pumpkin empanadas. With dinner after 11 pm I didn't want a lot of food or heavy food.
