Anyone for a swim?

The photo shows the view from the top of Dales Gorge. Can you see the people swimming? Dales Gorge is just one of the many spectacular gorges in Karijini National Park and very popular as a place to keep cool when the temperature is up around the 100F (37C) mark.
The downside is the set of steps you need to descend to get to the water – and of course those who go down have to come up again. We found the steps to be quite a challenge as it was very hot when we were trying to climb our way up. But the beauty of the area can’t be denied.

That is a very spectacular view, and it looks like a place that would be worth the descent (and ascent) on the steps. Do you know if the water is cool, or if it's warm? If it's colder water, then I wouldn't mind breaking a sweat to get to it.

Yes going down and back so many steps could indeed be a big challenge.
I am liking the various Trip posts that you are posting here!

I agree looks wonderful from where you took the picture. Were you able to go down there and go up again. I think going down may be easier than going back up again. I wish l was there too so l can see if l can still do the hike. It is a good physical exercise for anyone there.

@JudyEv honestly, i'd not wish drones to be flyin' willy-nilly o'er sacred places. 'tis jest's bad 's outsiders trespassin'. perhaps those folks'd gotten permission?? if'n not, i hope the peoples take 'em to court. seems that hittin' their pocketbooks 'tis the 'nly way these days to get corrupt folks 'ttention.

@nawala123 I can't swim very well, just a little bit, so I like to be able to touch the bottom with my feet.
