How would you like this Tibetan Mastiff to cuddle on your lap?
Its size is recorded as GIANT.
Tibetan Mastiffs are guard dogs and do not relish strangers.
They do not play fetch.
They shed a lot.
They bark a lot.
They are stubborn.
They are aloof.
Tibetan Mastiffs are happiest in Tibet where it’s cold.
I still prefer a kitty cat on my lap.

That is a huge dog that doesn't match with the small place I am currently living in. Haha curious post dear Dianne!

@jvicentevalera I actually live in a house where I am now. The condo is in Florida where no dogs are allowed.

I’m ok I’m not a pet person but hubby wants a dog. He’s had a dog growing up. The only pets I’ve had were a turtle and some beta fish

Goodness, I would hate to be on the receiving end of a bad mood in that dog!

@DianneN That wouldn't be a fun job at all. You'd need a large trash can to hold the droppings of that dog!

I saw this picture on FB already and am amazed that there are dogs that grow this big. I think they will be a very good guard dog indeed because of their size any one who plans on doing something bad will have to think twice before doing their deeds.

I would love one that size. But a little more cuddly. I had read about them in the past. They need a strong hand in training.

That's really huge. Seems like a hybrid of lion and dog. Quite a monster to look at. I would be scared to be around it.
Quite an interesting post

@DianneN When I saw the picture it looks like a stuffed monster. I would have never thought it to be a dog. I am sure it must be least preferred breed to have as a pet.

Oh my god, that fur would bring a lot of problems here in tropical country. It's good that dog lives in Tibet.
I am starting to imagine watching TV with that dog on my lap. Just noooo, my couch would be broken, and I get fracture everywhere.
