Good afternoon guys!
How's everybody doing?
Today was my third day at work in this new job I got. I have had the chance to get to now a little bit some co-workers, supervisors, and the bosses. I say the bosses because there are more than one. Thankfully all of them have been friendly so far, what a relief!
I wasn't the only one new, in fact there were other guys my age who were hired to, and what's so great about it is that they're Venezuelan like me. It was nice because somehow I don't feel like that far away from home. Fortunately they've been friendly towards me, and viceversa of course. I must confess there's a supervisor who I can't stand because he's the type of people who expects one to fully master a job in like 3 days. Come on! As if when He got hired he knew all about the functions. Oh and I didn't mention it, he's also from my country.
Thanks for reading Mylotters!
I wanna know what you've been up to?

I am happy to know you have 3 days of work done. It's wonderful that you met others from you country and hopefully you will have more friends to hang out with. Too bad about that boss. Sometimes there is always one bad apple to spoil the rest. Just do your job as best you can and soon he will be very impressed with you.

@jvicentevalera He will surely be even more friendlier when he notices that you are doing a great job. Do not worry. My husband was my Boss and he was very rude the first day I started my job.

That is great that you could get to know other new ones like yourself and they came from your country so you can feel at home. That is not a good supervisor. Jobs can be complicated and hard at first and overwhelming with so much to learn and then this person comes and pressures you and that is not right. That is too bad he is from your country. Is that you in the picture. I do not know if you mentioned what you will be doing but can you tell us about the job.

Thanks for your encouraging words! No, that's not me in the picture. My current job is called Order Builder for The Coca-Cola Company. Functions are from picking and filling orders, pulling damaged products, to using power pallet jack to load, donwload, and pull items and products, etc.

Thanks for your thoughtful words Carol. I confess that I have been anxious during this job. Anxiety was caused by myself, because I am unconsciously hard on myself. I am the kind of person who wants to learn it all fast, and that's now right, I have to learn that it all is a process, but my inner saboteur sometimes plays tricks on me.

For me, my day consisted of the usual. So, nothing special to report there. My cats are keeping me company, but not helping me get some work in, which is nice.
