Does washing knives in a dishwasher spoil the knives?

I haven't heard this. I wash my knives in the dishwasher.

Is the knife made of stainless steel?

I wash knives in the dishwasher all of the time. Some of my butter knives do have stains, but we've also had those knives for years and age is a thing, too. Nothing lasts forever. But, no. The knives work just fine. Sure, they do need sharpening from time to time, as all knives do, but still. Just trust in your instincts. No matter what you do, there will always be a counter-argument.

I never heard that, a knife does not rust easily today, so I believe the dishwasher is alright.

I think it damages other goods, don't put Sharp things, here is a chance to damage other products .

They said wash immediately the knife after using then wipe.
