Very Long Power Interruption

The wind become strong yesterday so they've cutted our power and it just back an hour ago. More than 24 hours of power interruption we have suffered. Really quite annoying to experience such but I understand because it was for our safety also and they've said some tree broke and hit their lines... I am just glad it is back now...

@simplfred Yes very true but some times there is some damage which requires some time for restoration.

Yes, I understand that they should cut the line during a strong storm but they should be quick on restoring it after the storm becomes weaker...

we seldom have brownout here. when it does, it's just a few seconds.
but once in a while, when it takes a while to come back, it means something happened somewhere.
i remember the last time, sister said she heard a pop somewhere in the neighborhood before the light went out, but it only lasted i think 20-30 minutes.

That is great... Here, I think the management of the power corporation is not doing a good job during this time... I understand there was a storm but it should not take them that long...
