Hey there, everyone. My posts are going to sort of be close together. I just want to get them posted, since I keep falling behind.
Day 122 of Daily Blogging Challenge: “What effect does music have on you?”
For the most part, music has a good effect on me. Music can cheer me up when I need it, or it can take me down memory lane. On the other hand, it can help me to express myself when I cannot find the words. It also allows me to escape and drown out the world. I love listening to music.
What effect does music have on you?
I’ll be back soon. Take care. :)

For me it really sort of depends. I play music, and I write and record music. Both covers and originals. I find the process of playing and writing and recording to be VERY soothing and enjoying. I also like all kinds of music from many different eras and genres. I especially like indie bands and things that are not necessarily mainstream.
Even when it comes to making my own music, I enjoy the freedom of just doing my own thing. Not necessarily following the rules of structure or arrangement.
Music is a pretty big side gig in my life. It does give me pleasure. For the stuff I have in places like iTunes and Spotify and wherever else it shows up, it makes me some money. Music touches me in many ways.

That's awesome that you play, write and record music, and I'm glad you enjoy it. I had no idea you made music and got paid for it, that's really awesome. :) I have a few genres I like; I can listen to New Kids On The Block, Linkin Park and then musicals. That's the great thing about music, you don't have to stick to one genre.

I like how jazz/ bossa sets the mood of the place. I listen to Solfeggio music to heal my energy centers. So music is also a big part of my life.
