I am as tired as I have ever been.

When I went to vote, there was an entrance at a street and the exit in another street so that there was no pollution.
Claudia took very well care of me and I waalked to the voting table leaning in her arm.
Then I went with her to her table( in the same building because we live so near) and waited while she voted. So far so good.
But then I had to walk until forever and it was my fault. The security guard outside told Claudia I could stay with him while she got the car. And what did I say? "No, I can walk"
It was a hike to eternity. 4 big blocks for a stupid woman who should not have let her legs go to pieces.
Now I have been trembling and hating myself.
I will walk every day. Promise.

I rested. But I know that it is important that I start to walk.

I am so glad you didn't collapse, at any time while walking so far! I use to walk every day and had strong legs. Now, I don't walk very much and my legs aren't as strong.

I will start walking each day a bit more from now on. I am worried. But it was worth it. I have been waiting for this day for 30 years.

I will walk more every day. But today was very special. We were voting for or against a new constitution. It was a day I had been waiting for for 30 years.

@DianneN Now we aproved that a new constitution had to be written. And there are dates to do it.

This is the wisest unwise decision in my life. I went to vote for a new constitution.

yes our legs seem to be the first to go and hard to make ourselves move around when arthritis hurts so bad.

If you're physically capable of walking, yes, you should walk a little bit everyday to keep the blood flowing and your legs healthy. Pushing yourself like that, however, doesn't do you, or your body, any good.

@kaylachan We then threw Pinochet from the power but we did not want his constitution. Today we voted to write another one.

I couldn't walk 100 feet, let alone 4 blocks. I hope you feel better now.
