Butter, not margarine

When I make myself a slice of toast it must have a good dollop of real butter on it! Margarine, low-fat spreads or any other kind of (so-called) healthy spread is anathema to me - it's 'toast with butter' not 'toast with healthy, low-calorie spread'. Same with boiled or baked potatoes; a healthy chunk of real butter is the only way to go.
PS: I have no trouble believing that's not butter!

I'm glad you enjoy your butter. I am satisfied with the low-fat spreads.

Maybe they should call it “I can’t believe you think I wouldn’t believe it’s not butter.”

Sounds like something my husband would say. When it comes to food, he's completely against the "healthy alternatives", calling them "not real". While I can agree to a degree, some foods, unless they told you, you might never know.

I will go with my grandmother's saying: 'A little of what you fancy does you good'. She also said that everything in moderation is fine. I don't overdo the butter in my diet - just really on toast.
