From that statement, I would agree that the most important part is living in the present.
However, I do not quite agree with forgetting the past. :P Perhaps, do not dwell too much in the past. But you should not forget, because you learn from the past. ;)
As for the future, a little planning would probably do some good. But do not waste away daydreaming about it. :)
