I'M SHOCKED
They're seldom right!!!
They said we'd get mixed rain and snow!!! WE DID
Ok, I gotta calm down, I must be dreamin, it's way too early in the year for this. The trees haven't even lost their leaves yet. Oh no, I pray this won't kill any of them.
SOMEBODY TELL ME A JOKE, PLEEEEZE
I just checked 3 weather services and all showed either 27f or 30f and it's 6:59 am.
Dad blasted seesaw seasons, they drive me nuts.
What's it like where you are?
EDIT: There's about a half inch of the stuff on the ground right now.

Did you take the furbabies out and make a snowman? I bet they loved it, while you shivered in your boots!
Edit to add: We've had a few days that reached freezing or barely below and the high was 36F on the 27th. We didn't see any rain or snow.

congrats'n yer snow! seriously, yer neck'f the woods 'tis like here'n the moisture much needed. 't least ya didn't stay'n the deep freeze fer days'n end, eh? the trees'll be fine.
mother nature's cruel joke. 30-40, sometimes more dips'n temps. we've 'd 2 winter weather e'ents. seems most 'nfair to get such prior to many folks way'p north, lol.

I wasn't all that happy with it although like you said we did need the moisture. This is the last seesaw season of the year. It's back in the 70s and overnight it's gettin down into the 50s for now. I suppose we'll get a few more icy days along the way but fortunately these icy events usually only last a day maybe 2.
I'm worried that January might just be freezing cold next year. I pray it won't be.

They're having a hard time predicting the weather these days @crazyhorseladycx probly gots something to do with the unexpected number of hurricanes they've been gettin down southeast of us.

@rebelann 'twas definitely not thrilled here with the 24/7 high winds that came with that storm here. jest brutal. 'twas 72 here today, 'pposed to be our normal temps the next 10 days. 'f course, they've gotten such wrong 'fore, so'll not hold my breath.
'tis odd, the national forecast fer yer neck'f the woods, mine'n most 'f the western states 're to be drier'n warmer'n the norm. i reckon mother nature'd not gotten said memo. ya know, coz 't snowed down yer way 'n this'd be our 2nd winter storm, lol. yepperz, moisture badly needed!

Stay warm, comfy and snugly. Colorado would be needing snow. Lots!

@rebelann Oh, I didn't realize that El Paso Texas very very rarely gets some snow in Autumn.

@rebelann We don't have rain here even now and the snow is not even mentioned, we expect it only at the end of January, otherwise in previous years we had a lot of snow at this time ..

You are correct, it is not good @LowRiderX every year seems to get drier and drier. Our planet is running out of fresh water.

@rebelann Yes, it seems that winter is slowly disappearing, there is no snow at all or very little ... winter is practically only on the calendar.. but it is not good.

Your sure that wasn't Alaska's forecast? Looks like you got close to your yearly average in one day.
