I Thought I had Covid-19.

Saturday morning, a friend took me shopping. About noon on Sunday, I felt sick. I felt very hot and took my temperature. It was almost 103. My throat was sore and my eyes hurt. Everything hurt.
The first thing I thought of was that it was C19 and I hoped I did not give it to my friend. I laid there in bed unable to move much. I did not even look at my phone or watch youtube videos. All I could do is sleep.
Monday afternoon I felt better. I had not eaten anything so I had some soup. I showered away all the nastiness from being sick and feel much better today.
I don't know what it was but I doubt it was the virus.
Do you know anyone who had C19? Do you know anyone who was tested? I wish it would just go away.

@crossbones27 That is a shame because they probably get money for their athletic skills or promotions.

Glad you are feeling better now. I hate that every sniffle or cough or whatever, you just have to wonder omg did I get it. I do know a few people who had it - a couple of them had it a while ago and still do not feel quite right. I do know more folks who have tested. Seriously, I wish this virus would just disappear.

@much2say I think my son had it in February. They tested him for flu and strep but they were negative. He did not get tested for covid because they were only testing people who recently came from China. He said he had never been so sick in his life. You probably had the same thing.

There is a family from our church that everyone in it has been tested and positive for Covid. The father and daughter were at my place a week before I got sick. I was much sicker after I posted this. I had a fever for two weeks that took a lot out of me. I want to sleep too much now.

It sounds like you had a taste of the flu, not C-19. It doesn't go away that fast.
Yes, I know people who had it. I've been tested, only because I had and am having surgery. I'll be tested again on Friday before my next surgery.
I'm glad you're feeling better.

Glad you are feeling better. Thank heavens I do not know anyone personally that has gotten it. I do know people that know people that have gotten it and some people here know people also or people in their family or friends,. I wish it would go away too. That is very scary thinking you may have the virus. I hope you are ok now.

Just because you got better doesn't mean you didn't have it. I would get tested anyway. You want to keep others safe.

@snowy22315 Yes, I would be eager to know but I can't get to the doctor and I don't know if Uber would take anyone who is sick with it.

They say it is going to be bad, Friday or something had 80,000 new cases in US Thursday had 77,000. Be careful already calling it a dark winter.

I am glad you are feeling better now. Yes I know of 2 who have had it and recovered with in a few weeks. I know a bunch who have been tested, mainly because they all had surgeries during this time and that now is required before surgery. I wish it would go away as well. It is sad to see people living in fear.

It is strange that the fever keeps coming back. I had a fever yesterday. I lost a lot of time on myLot because of this illness. I hope it is not C19.
It was just too much effort to get to a doctor. I would have to call an Uber. I could go in Urgent Care and get tested. They would then tell me to leave. I would have to stand outside until I get another Uber. They took benches out of everywhere because they don't want people to sit. It might be half an hour or longer to get another Uber. I can not stand outside that long. This disease is so cruel.

An officemate was diagnosed with CoViD-19 plus a couple of colleagues from my previous work got CoViD-19.
Good to note that all of them have fully recovered.
Good thing that you didn't have CoViD-19.

I've known several people who have tested positive with only 1 having any symptoms at all.
It'll go away in the same sense that influenza goes away.
Edit: No I take that back. Have known 2 and only 1 with any symptoms. Fever, sore throat, lack of smell. By day 3 completely back to normal with no treatment whatsoever.

Most are becoming paranoid really. A simple colds is being suspected as C19. Local transmission here in our province is high and most are asymptomatic.
