How to become rich?

Very simple question but hard to reach. Maybe almost everyone has that dream. But you can achieve that if you are lazy? They say you should be hardworking but for me you should work wisely. But until now, I am still not rich lol. But I do not give up reaching that dream one day.So I will do my best to reach my dream.

The first thing you should do is begin saving for an emergency account. You should aim for 3 to 6 months of your expenses. You should pay off all debt. You can use a snowball method of doing that. You can open a pension for your old age. You can invest money in the stock exchange. I suggest an Index Fund is a low risk strategy. Over many years compounding will happen making you very rich indeed.

@tooslow You are welcome. If a person is young then there is a lot of time for compounding. Always make sure you are saving for your retirement even though it is many years away. Dave Ramsey is an American man that has 7 baby steps to wealth. Maybe look at him on You Tube. He is a millionaire.

A person who working and is saving for a rainy season is much better than to be rich. I know a person who is rich not because of money or wealth but with internal happiness he has along with his family.

Most people never become rich because 1 they never define to themselves exactly what being rich means. And 2 they aren't willing to put in the time to get there.

I do not think you can be lazy and become rich. All of my money has come from hard work, deep research into how to make and grow money, and how to get the biggest bang for my buck. I would not consider myself rich but some people might considering what I make and how much I have. But NONE of it has come easy.

It's good to be rich, but the most important for me is how to be grateful with all you have. When it comes to money, I don't think there's a world called 'enough'. You will always want more and more...
