Life is a choice, what and how and our current condition is the result of past choices that we have made, on the contrary, how our future depends on the available choices, we cannot change the past, but we can determine the future.

To an extent, yes. Life throws us choices at every turn. It's up to us what we do with them. However, there are always things we cannot predict, like the choices others make.
