Something Snarky I Ought to Say when Facebook-Friends post that We Should "Thank God"

I should reply, "Which God?"
(I know they mean "Yahweh" or (like Kenneth Copeland & Joel Osteen & plenty of country-western Christians call `m) "God Almighty" or "The Most-High."
(But this video makes me want to remind these friends that "God" is too general, and their thanks might be intercepted by 'somebody else' instead ) https://youtu.be/_qr2vT5ySLA

I think that when most people say 'thank God' they are referring to whichever of the many Gods they happen to worship - if they are referring to any God at all that is since this phrase has become one of those general use phrases which many people use regardless of whether they believe in a deity or not

... maybe they're referring to the God that American public-school kids said America was "one nation under" for many years
In 1954, with President Eisenhower in the pews, the Rev. George Docherty argued that “to omit the words ‘under God’ in the Pledge of Allegiance is to omit the definitive factor in the American way of life.” Eisenhower agreed.

God is all-knowing and He is omnipresent and omniscient. He knows if He is worshipped or not.

@Nakitakona What's his name?
If you give the wrong name, who's to say some FALSE "God" won't take your worship before the real one gets it?

Not if we (his fellow workers) don't see it & use-it/protect-ourselves-against-it!
