Vanlife

My Youtube recommendation is full of it after I watched a video on van conversion into a campervan. Vanlife is not really a thing in my country. Probably due to the lack of facility for it. So I am really amazed to see someone's living fulltime in a van. How did they do it? Who's here living in a van?

It looks interesting to me too, though I 'd rather prefer living in tradition immovable property instead of van. Because of security issues and unpredictable weather conditions

True, must be really cool during the cold season. And hot during one as well.

Hey, pardon me if I ask like a layman - what exactly is living in a van? or campervan? But please enlighten me.

It's campervan. Some convert van into campervan. It's their tiny house and they travel in it. Some just live in it due to various reason like rent.

@prinzcy But is it legal? I mean it is allowed by the law? Food can be arranged from the hotel, but where will they park the van? What about all the natural activities? Taxes? OMG! Too many questions in my mind!

@nitsbubb I guess that depends on the country. My country don't have that and we're not really allowed to modify our vehicles. There are strict rules to follow if we want to. I don't know about the U.S. though. Most people I saw in the videos are living in the U.S. Trying searching on youtube about van conversion. Be careful. You might fall into the vanlife abyss, like me.

I do not know anyone who lives in a van but that would be a great way to take a vacation.

I know right. It's pretty convenient, especially if you have kids.

Not me. I would have loved to have a motor home to use for traveling but they are way too expensive.
