Want to share something with you that I sit today

It is the Sabbath so could not take a picture and can just share what I saw. I was sitting on my porch and looked over and saw this one bird sitting on the top of the tree. Others came to join and then they all flew away after a while and it was cool to see them fly. Then one came back and sat there at the top of the tree.

Lovely! I love observing birds too - they give me so much joy. Oh how they must feel being able to fly atop a tree and overlook the land, and perhaps meet a few like-minded friends!

@CarolDM I know how much you like birds and like to share them with us. I just could not take one and Sundays are different days so do not usually sit out on the porch.

My dear Mother RIP oh how I miss her!! She adored the birds too Hanni. I remember her lifting me up to the window to see them as a very small child.

@Hannihar yes ma'am, this i know :) but sometimes, e'en when one can 'n's a camera ready, such doesn't turn out proper. i consider those moments to be meant fer my eyes 'n soul 'nly. perhaps sounds a tad strange to ya.

I can't see the photo .. Well i like watching birds too, There's a tree nearby our window and birds keep coming there everyday.

@rhuenz There is no photo because it was the Jewish Sabbath when I saw them and cannot take a picture of them. That is considered work.

@MarshaMusselman I was never much of a bird person before, but, after I watched the pigeons I began to appreciate them more and enjoy watching them now when I am sitting on the porch.

@JudyEv I am beginning to enjoy watching them too, but, when on the porch with Sophie I try to pay more attention to her instead. They ignore her so I try to ignore them too.

Birds always seem to fly away if we go near them . This happened today when I went to my balcony and saw a pigeon and when I said "shoo" it ran away
