Candy time!

Oh yeah the annual purging of the kids candy as part of the course when it comes to Halloween. Counted each of the kids candies as I remove candy that certain kids can’t have in our house. Once done counting I make it even so they all have the same amount and someone doesn’t complain that they had less then the other.
This year they get 60 piece and we get a nice box full to share between me and my husband.

Oh, that's a lot of fun. But, smart. Not giving the kids something to fight and complain about.

No, they won't. They're pretty young still yet. You're teaching them fairness and equality by counting their candy and making sure each kid has the same amount. @ShyBear88

@kaylachan we do the same for the holidays. They al get the same amount no one is important then the other unless you they are sick or really hurt or something.

we had kids out, but they had advised against it. Now one of these kids had a face covering or the parents. I saw them on the block behind me. They had a lot of candy for the looks of the heavy sacks they had.

Yes of course it was advise not to. But lots of us did anyways with the appropriate measurements.

Yeah my oldest had like 157 pieces of candy so I took hers down to like 60 pieces and the other two as well. So this is what’s left form taking away candy.
