Running in the rain

Have you ever ran in the rain looking for shelter? This has happenned to me many times because I live in a place where rain falls abruptly most of the time. It catches you unaware and so you have to run for shelter. Sometimes it happens that you had already seen the rain come but you just did not expect it to rain that much. I remember one time I went for a nature walk with a friend in a nearby forest. While going back, the rain started in the middle of the forest but it was just some drizzles. Thinking that it wasn't going to rain much, we kept going slowly. Then all over sudden the rain fell heavily and we had to run to find shelter which was a long distance from where we were. That is the day that I felt what it is like to be in heavy rain. We were just lucky that there was no lighting that day. I can still remember how soaking wet I was from my hair to my shoes.
