Thousand calorie breakfast

A friend came by Saturday and brought a small red velvet cake, which we ate half of for dessert at dinner. She left the other half when she went home. I had it for breakfast today, It wasn't all that satisfying, but I couldn't stop myself, nevertheless. Now I'm in a sugar coma so if there are any typos here, that's why. What did you break your fast with?

I love red velvet cake!! This morning i had scrambled eggs, everything bagel with butter and frozen fruit. I had a kit last one of those large bars a few minutes ago. I'm aiming at making cajun rice with fish for dinner tonight as I have work off.

This cake was a bit disappointing: not very moist and the icing was too sugary, not very cream cheesy.

@paigea Cut the amount of sugar called for in your recipe.

@BarBaraPrz I need a good cream cheese icing recipe, it always tastes too sugary to me.

I would have done the same thing. I had granola this morning.

Oh, my goodness, the hubby has been buying a lot of apple and cherry fruit pies at our local Dollar General!!! He has low blood sugar and I have high blood sugar, so I have to watch my sugar intake. But they are good!!

Oh my goodness, a lot of calories and not all that satisfying. I break our fast with banana bread and a yogurt.

Sounds a bit healthier than mine. I mean, carrots are good for ya, aren't they?

I hate that when I don’t ever really like it that much but can’t stop myself from eating it.
