It will be my first time being a bridesmaid

My cousin will be getting married soon and she has asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. I was so happy when she did. This will be a new experience for me. When I was a girl, I used to be a flower girl in many weddings. But as an adult, I have not been a bridesmaid probably because most of the weddings would happen when I am still in the University. According to our traditions, she will first have a pre-wedding ceremony which is done at the bride's home and a month later, a wedding ceremony where they exchange vows in church then proceed to the groom's home for a celebration. I will be a bridesmaid in both ceremonies and that requires so much work and money but I am glad I am finally experiencing this. In both ceremonies, we have to wear different dresses and shoes, so I will come out of this with more outfits in my closet LOL
