Get off me!

That's what I said to my weight this morning as I was walking. I need this last pound to get off of me so I can start on the journey to losing more. I know I'll get there, but I can't help but take a moment to complain.
I finally finished Grand Hotel on netflix. There were times when I was watching this show that I wondered if it was worth it to continue watching. The show had plenty of twists and turns. Murders, Blackmail, Secrets and Mayhem aplenty! The setting was 1903ish Cantaloa, Spain. A man comes to visit his sister at the hotel she works for only to be told that she left the hotel. He doesn't buy it and decides to pretend to be the waiter who has come to fill a new position. Julio Olmedo (played by Yan Gonzalez) befriends Andres Cernuda (played by Llorenc Gonzalez) who helps him figure out what happened. He's also assisted by Alicia Alarcon (played by Amaia Salamaca) who he ends up falling for.
It's a really good, but drawn out show. I think Cable Girls is the next netflix show I will watch. It also stars Yan Gonzalez.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I did better last year . . . I had absolutely no Halloween candy last year and did well to not eat sweets the rest of the year. But this year I blew it already . . . I should wean myself from this stuff now . . . well, I'll think about it . Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow . . . .

Well, this is definitely the time of year that is the hardest to eat better.. So don't beat yourself up if you don't eat as healthy as you'd like. I have a friend who is going to start the keto lifestyle after the new year for that very reason.

The first episode of Grand Hotel might be a little boring but stick with it. Actually, that's good advice for the whole series.
It is worth it for the ending.
I think I will start Cable Girls tonight. I started watching a show called Velvet about a 1940's department store in Spain but I didn't like how they went to flashback so soon into the show.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will definitely try to stick with it as I recover from oral surgery today.

Part of that might be water retention, do you think?

I do! I know I can reach my ultimate weight goal and then all I have to do is work on maintaining that weight.

Sometimes it's hard to get into the mindset of walking every day. I get up and the first thing I do is change into work out clothes and go out for a walk.

So you still have netflix?
Yes, walking is great exercise. I need to push myself to walk a little further each day. I could achieve this by walking further in the neighborhood, but I tend to go around the same block over and over instead.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes I found too many shows to watch not to keep it for now. I plan to walk later.

@CarolDM That's a good plan. I get rid of it if I've gone a month or more without watching it. This time of the year is when I watch netflix the most.

I do feel yelling at it helps quite a bit.
It makes me feel better at the very least.

@Nevena83 Yes, I want to take it in slow increments so that I don't over do myself.
