The basil came out. From my own seed too. I´m so happy.
Now they are very small seedlings. But later on I will plant them separate in small containers and much later I´ll place then in their definite soil.
I am watering them every day at the right time of the dy so that the roots are fine.
I am in full gardening mood.

@LadyDuck I do that. But some of the younger seedlings don´t make it to adulthood.

@marguicha As usual I seeded too many seeds closely, now I have to move the young plants in bigger pots.

@marguicha I've been doing snow pears for years here in Winter. The climate is temperate enough that they do quite well.

congrats'n yer success! i 'dore basil, not jest fer cookin', but plantin' such with maters really 'nhances the maters flavor whilst provin' to be a purty good deterrent for some pests's well. the lovely thingy 'bout basil 'tis ya can take cuttings 'n soon 've more'n plenty, with lots to share 's well.
i'm 'lways'n the mood to garden, but such 'tis not a good time here. ya know, that autumn'n winter schtuff? ;)

@crazyhorseladycx I know. But if I were rich, I´d go elsewhere for winter.

I can take some leaves in a month but I´ll have to wait more for a real harvest.

Happy gardening! :-) I lost my basil plants recently, I don't know what happen, the leaves and stem dried in one branch and gradually all didn't make it.
