A Busy Day

Today will be a busy day. Because I am having dental surgery tomorrow, I need to do house cleaning today since I may not feel like it over the next few days. I also need to wash a couple of loads of laundry. I hope I am prepared with food. I bought a lot of soup and I also bought pudding and jello. That's what my brother lived on for a couple of days after he had his upper dental plate. My only concern is leaving Daisy alone. I don't know whether to put her in her doggy playpen or leave her out. I'm more inclined to leave her in her playpen. I'm afraid she could hurt herself if I left her out plus, she would be out longer than she should be. She's still supposed to be restricted to bed rest. I'm going to mylot for a while longer then get started. So, what do you have planned for today?

Tomorrow is today and I've got my dental surgery. My ride bailed out on me last night so I have to use Uber. I also can have sedation with no one here. I will have laughing gas instead.

@DocAndersen Yes, the surgery went fine although the dental surgeon was a little rough at giving the numbing injections.

I think that it would be better to let Daisy at home in the pen, if she gets excited when you come back home she could jump and get hurt again.

@LadyDuck I have had to stop putting her in the recliner with me when I am tired or sleepy. The last time I did I fell asleep and I woke up to her jumping off the end of the recliner. It freaked me out so much! I scolded her then realized it wasn't her fault, it was mine.

@rebelann I forgot her playpen had a top that zipped on and off. I used it while I was gone and I felt more comfortable leaving her since I knew she couldn't jump out. She did great and was so happy when I come home.

Thank you. I am so scared. The person that was supposed to take me bailed out on me last night. Now I have to use an Uber and I also can not have sedation without someone with me. Oh, joy!

I hope all goes well for you tomorrow. I would leave Daisy in the pen, too. I just returned from playing tennis and have a load of laundry going.

I think the playpen is the best choice. Then you don't have to worry about being gone a long time. Nothing planned for today. Good luck tomorrow.

@LindaOHio I will keep her in it when I leave for quite a while. That way I know she won't be jumping up and down off the furniture. I can't afford another surgery.

You do sound really organized, I think that putting Daisy in the pen would rest your worries and keep her safe.

It ended up being the right thing to do. I forgot that it came with a top that zips closed.

I will be gone at least a couple of hours. I'm scared that would be too long to leave her out without supervision. I don't want her to hurt herself.

@simone10 Good luck with the dental surgery. I can understand what you will be feeling you probably will just want to snuggle with Daisy and rest. Today is already Friday here and did my chores and laundry and am now here at the computer working. It sounds like you are prepared with food to eat. Take care.
