I’m Scared!

I took this photo from my bedroom window. Apparently, we have people driving by our house, usually workers and people living on our street. Not unusual. Our street is too narrow and not meant for parking cars.
However, it’s very unusual when they park in the street in front of our house and drive around the circle of our street to return and park again.
Our contractor mentioned it to my husband and asked if we knew them. He saw a white car yesterday and today parked in front of our house.
Our son came to visit today just as hubs and I were returning from our walk, and asked us who just drove off from in front of our house as he pulled into our driveway. He saw a white car.
We have no idea! The car is gone by the time we look. We don’t have the license plate number, but hubs just called the police. They will make periodic drives by our house.
Our doors are locked and the alarm is on, and I’m scared.

That would scare me too. Hopefully they don’t return.

That's what my son thought, too. And the contractor entered our basement yesterday to tell my husband about that car. I found out earlier. I'm not going walking until something is done about this situation. The why and who is what gets to me.

That is scary, I'd be alerted by this, also. Especially with the same car driving past more than one time! If there was a for sale sign, that would be understandable I'm thankful the police have been alerted, to this unusual occurrence. stay safe

We saw the car parked here again first thing this morning, but by the time the police arrived, it was gone. At least we know it's a white Grand Cherokee Jeep now. I have no idea how long it was parked there or why it took off. The deck workers, our neighbors, and we are keeping our eyes opened. We are having a President party on our lawn this afternoon with our son and his girlfriend, so we can watch the road without any trouble.

@DianneN I hope the police continue to patrol your area and those people give up whatever nefarious activity they were planning to do.

@DianneN This is what I dread about living alone. Things are more violent now.

We would need many, many cameras. The car was here again first thing this morning. By the time the police arrived, it was gone. At least we can identify the make and model of the car now. Our neighbors are keeping their eyes opened, the police will continue to do a drive by, and my neck is twisting off between looking out the window and watching the votes come in.

I have it planned how we can sneak up behind the car through the front woods to get a license plate number, but I am still scared. Thank goodness the workers noticed when they kept going to their truck to get tools and whatever. That's why the contractor came into my basement, yesterday. He wanted to tell my husband.

I wonder who it can be and why that person feels the need to do so.

Thank you, Simone. It first was noticed by our contractor on Wednesday. He alerted my husband.
We saw it first thing this morning, but by the time the police arrived, it was gone. Now our entire neighborhood is on alert for that car. It's an SUV. I told the police the make and model this morning.

I would be too. Lets hope it is just a realtor or something..hoping to send you a you could get x amount of dollars for your house or some such thing. Maybe you should invest in some survelliance cameras..and put one at the end of your driveway.

@DianneN Maybe you could call up some of your neighbors and see if they have noticed it or if it is checking out other houses as well.

@Nakitakona I have my camera ready, but it's impossible to get the license plate number without getting close to the car. I am afraid of the nut who is behind the wheel. The police told us not to get close or approach him.

@DianneN Did you take a photo of it or video it secretly? It is a good and valid evidence especially if you get its plate number of the car.
