Election Result and Confusion

November 7, 2020 12:58pm CST
I do not follow Americal politics that well but I have a doubt that most of you can help me with. Most of the people whom I see on the internet didn't want Trump but how did he manage to secure 214 seats despite the unpopularity? How is that even possible? On the side note, I feel happy for the people of the USA.

As irresponsible as Trump is he got his voters voting for him. Biden/Harris won. Trump now is delusional not leaving the Whitehouse. Got to hope Trump doesn't keep up his childishness and leaves graciously. America really needs President elect Biden now!

Trump has been delusional for a long time. I hope he goes back to the reality show business before he serves his time in prison.

Because he was never as unpopular as the media wanted everyone to believe. In fact, he was wildly popular. I think there is something we are going to find out about this election that will bear that out. Something is rotten about this election. It will eventually come out, just going to take a little time.

@TheHorse As to why Trump has many votes when clearly Biden is the favourite

Oh out here, the discussion is so much that I get the point why he was not hated by all like we see and hear. In fact, he was loved by many and that's why so many votes were in favour of him

I do too. I recommend anyone who wonders how Trump got something like 47.8 of the popular vote here read "Hoax," by Brian Stelter. His (Trump's) relationship with the FOX spin-doctors was very tight over the past four years. Even my kitty read "Hoax."
