November 8 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm glad for the feedback from some of you who really like these posts and adds a bit of brightness to your day and life. We all have something to be thankful for. When you're wondering what - think about the little things. The fact you woke up today. The sun shining. The birds chattering. You have food on your table and a bed to sleep in. Your world might be tumbling around your ears, but if you can remember the little things, you'll make it through your day.
Okay, I know that was meant for someone other than me.
Me - I want to go home. I'm not there yet, so what am I thankful for besides all I mentioned above.
I'm thankful for the nurses. They're a huge help. Though I can take care of myself now, their help is invaluable.
I'm thankful for the cook. The first time I saw her I thought she looked familiar and she thought the same thing. We went to the same church several years ago. She's still there. I've moved on.
I'm thankful for the quiet day. I've watched a couple shows on PeacockTV and will again, or Netflix.
I've finished the notifications again. It's quiet here. I guess no one has anything to complain about now that the election is over. I'm glad it's over too. I'm not happy with the results, but that's me. The only thing I can do is what is commanded in Scripture. Pray for our leaders and all those in authority. Pray for wisdom, and know God knows what He's doing, even if I don't understand it.

yepperz, e'ery day 'tis a blessin' 'n a lesson. some choose not to think 'f these thingies 'n let't all get 'nder their skin, burnin' 'nto their hearts.
oddly, thankful fer the generous colors that mother nature's shown'n the form 'f leaves cascadin' down. 'tis the first time'n all my years here such's lingered. the colors richer, more varied. very few leaves 're clingin' to their perches 'n i figure prolly by tomorrow one'd be hard pressed to see any 's the winds continue.
the sunset 'twas 'f subdued beauty. a sea 'f e'ery shade 'f grey 'magined, a delicate pink rimmin' the clouds'n their vastness. ne'er endin' 's far's the eye could see. a reminder that not all needs to be bright'n fanciful to touch the soul. 'nother day's turned to darkness, 's nature readies fer the sleep.

I am ever thankful for the ability to videochat with my husband. Haven't seen him in person since Sunday. He won't be home for at least a month. Being able to at least talk to him in a videochat is helpful.

I am thankful that today was a calm day for me to put out the two trash cans to be picked up on Monday morning as well as reaching my goal of getting at least 30 surveys in a seven day period today which gives me a bonus for payment on Branded Surveys.

Solomon asked the Lord for wisdom and understanding, which pleased God. We are to do the exact same thing, so we can face life in this world each day, anticipating that HE will prove all good things! Doubt can only brings me down!
