As promised, here's my list of recipes I plan to make this month, starting with tonight. Even though the weather's warm this week and will get cooler by the weekend, it's also time to bring out the crockpot to make stews, soups, and other hot meals. I've brought back some seafood dishes and added one dessert recipe for this month's menu. So let's get ready to get cooking with the lowdown: 1. One-Pot Garlic Tomato Shrimp Pasta-(Pinterest)--This one-pot pasta meal is what I'm having for dinner right now. I've got the leftover frozen shrimp to put with spaghetti, a can of diced tomatoes, a small onion, and a couple of spices to give it some flavor. Seafood + pasta equals a delicious combination. 2. Crockpot Broccoli Chicken (Pinterest)--This is the first of my crockpot chicken meals I've selected for this meal to have on Tuesday. Besides chicken, you have frozen broccoli and broccoli cheddar soup to create this casserole and serve it with rice. 3. Crockpot Sloppy Joe Potato Stew (RecipesthatCrock)--This recipe is one of my stews and soups I've placed on my list. Who loves sloppy joes? It can be even better to turn it into a stew with potatoes and swap the ground beef with turkey as a substitute. This is going to be a recipe I plan to make this weekend and hope to have leftovers for next week. 4. Key Lime Coconut Shrimp and Rice (Pinterest)--This is my first of my two seafood dishes I plan to make this month. With the same leftover shrimp and jasmine rice, i just need lime juice and a lime, coconut milk and cilantro to make this easy meal next Friday. 5. Healthy Baked Cheddar Ranch Chicken (Pinterest)-This recipe is very quick and easy to cook with chicken breast. Since I couldn't find Simply Organic ranch dressing mix, I've brought Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix in its place. Add some cheddar cheese and you have a quick meal. This is going to be next Tuesday night's dinner meal plan. 6. Crockpot Beefless Beef Stew (Pinterest)--This meal is perfect to have the stew without the ground beef. It's pure vegetarian and perfect to have on a weekend night with plenty of veggies to make up for it. Delicious! I plan to have this sometime next week. 7. Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta with Bacon (Pinterest)--This is the second pasta meal I have lined up for this month. As for the butternut squash cubes, I can only find diced cubes in the frozen ices which would be compensate for it. And since applewood smoked bacon was expensive and not on sale, I went for turkey bacon in its place. I'm sure it would taste good. And I plan to have this meal in two weeks on Thanksgiving Eve. 8. Crockpot Chicken Florentine Soup (RecipesthatCrock)--This is my third soup/stew recipe to make in the crockpot later this month. Besides chicken, you just need baby spinach, heavy cream, dried basil and dried marjoram. Since Acme didn't have it, I would have to use an alternate ingredient in its place. 9. Pumpkin alla Vodka Pasta (Pinterest)-This is my last pasta dish I'm making this month. What makes this special is pumpkin puree. And since I don't have vodka, I'll use white and lemon juice as a substitute. Add some cremini mushhrooms, kale, tomato paste and rigatoni for this meal. This is perfect to have later this month on a weekend. 10. Islander Oatmeal (All Recipes Magazine, November/December 2020)--This issue arrived on time last week as I was finalizing my list. For an easy breakfast dish, besides rolled oats, you just need mango and agave syrup. Since the agave syrup is expensive, I'm using honey or maple syrup in its place and add some cashews to it. 11. Easy After Work Chicken Francaise (All Recipes Magazine, November/December 2020--This is a perfect chicken dish to whip in a flash and easy to make on any day. Besides chicken, you need parsley, sliced mushrooms, fresh thyme, lemon and lemon juice, vegetable oil. Delicious! This is going to be made later this month. 12. Smooth and Creamy Peanut Butter Pie (All Recipes Magazine, November/December 2020)--Last but not last, this is my only dessert recipe I'll make this month. Besides it's an easy no-bake pie, you just need peanut butter, whipped cream, chocolate cookie crumb crust (I brought a chocolate crust one), and honey roasted peanuts. Voila! That's on my menu for this month. Next month, I'll be picking and revisiting my favorites I've made in the past few years. So I'll see you tomorrow and have a good one!

You do a lot of crockpot meals. Mine wouldn't get cleaned so quickly. I need to clean the lid off my insta pot I use that one fairly often. I spilled seasoning into the crevices on the lid and although I tried to clean it out haven't been successful yet.

@KristenH no it's like a pressure cooker lid. Once I get to walking better I need to carry it to the sink and just work on it.

Yeah. Normally 10-12 a month, like 2-3 meals a week + leftovers if I'm lucky. Oh boy. Can you wash the lid in your dishwasher?

Me neither. At least, the stew version won't fall off your bun when you eat it. I just had leftovers for dinner tonight. Yes it does! Agreed.

One-Pot garlic tomato shrimp pasta is something that I could try. It's one of the easiest to make after all. How do you make that Easy After Work Chicken Francaise? Baked? Fried? I would really love to know.

Real easy to make. I think the chicken has to be baked in a pan according to the directions.
