Man cold

Haha my poor husband has a man cold. He is acting like he is 2. Last night he was like “make me feel better!” I laughed at him like come on suck it up. I get cold and I don’t complain.
You’ll be okay take some cold meds and sleep. Guys are so funny when they get sick. certainly I’m not babying him like I do the kids when they sick. He did call out of work since his has a low grade fever and just feels like bluh. I’d say give him a few days and he’ll be good.

Oh yes, we men do complain when any little thing makes us feel ow and headachy. My remedy for something like that is a shot of whisky, a dash of lemon juice, a spoonful of brown sugar and hot water. That (and maybe a couple of paracetamol) soon gives a fuzzy, warm, sleep inducing feeling

Lol yeah but he can’t do that since he has other medication he takes daily so the things he could do to help he can’t always use. Sucks. He’s a nurse and yet he acts like a child over when hurt and sick.

@owlwings I have two brothers but neither of them act like babies when they are sick. One was in the Army and does self medication on his own. The same with my other brother he does the whole let me out a sweater shirt on and leave me be.
