What was your scariest memory from your childhood?

I remember being chased by a snake as a kid. We went for my aunt's wedding and there was a lake nearby I always went to play, my mom always scolded me but I was too stubborn. One day I discovered some holes by the river bed and I put my hand in the holes, thankfully nothing bit me so I started jumping from hole to hole.i stepped on one and I felt something push against my leg, I checked and saw a brown and black snake, I ran so much that I could have taken off to the sky. Thankfully it was caught behind by people who saw me and I always listened to my mom since then.

This one involves a snake too... We were at my grandparents house. We had a tiny vacation home on their property that sat on a hill. I was running down that hill to visit them and my stride narrowly missed the snake. I never forgot that and it had to be years ago!! I'm sure that the snake was as scared as I was! ;)

Imagine if you put your hand in the hole and the snake bit you. I spent some time caring for pre school children and their topic was holes. My worst experience was being bitten by a wasp. I was cleaning my bedroom and I sat on a wasp. The sting really hurt me. Last summer I took my children to see big cats at a rescue center. I noticed loads of wasps by all picnic areas. They said on the Thursday 40 people were stung. We were there on the Saturday. It is a case of once bitten very shy.
