Today I received bad news that my older brother was ill and after being examined by a Covid-19 reactive doctor with features of cough, runny nose, fever and sore throat. Now undergoing a swab test to confirm whether it is positive or not against Covid-19. I was very scared because every day I met him and his house was opposite mine. What should I do now?

I should also take the Covid test, unfortunately now I don't have health insurance and also the costs to do it. Just hope the magic doesn't catch.

Just breathe. Pray for your brother's improved health, and do the best to take care of yourself. Just because he got sick, doesn't mean you will, too. Before you even learned the word 'COVID' you'd probably think it was a bad cold or infection. That's all COVID is. Everyone can get sick and everyone will eventually. You'll be fine as long as you stay calm and take care for yourself.

Nature herbs are no harm to use - Echnacea Purpurea and Elderberry . many have uses them and also camomilla and limeflower, I have uses them all - echinacea should be uses best in the beginning of a flu or preventing it.. Maybe you find other products in the health stores.

@buenavida I think honey is also important to consume to improve health, it is also found in our scriptures as a medicine for all diseases.

@Babale That is a valid point. I would remind you that many of the people who catch this thing show no signs or very minor ones. However, and more to your point, since the outcome of a positive test would likely be self-quarantining for now, why bother testing. I suggest you educate yourself on current symptoms and keep an eye out for any symptoms. Don't hesitate to seek help should something pos up.

I might be willing to go through quarantine, but for the test it doesn't seem necessary, because right now I'm in good health.

My brother's swab test was positive, but after checking his overall health there was no significant problem in his lungs and other internal organs, only complaining of a cold. Now allowed to go home and undergo self-quarantine at home for 14 days. Tomorrow our whole family will have a health check and hope that nothing is reactive.

Do a self-quarantine for now. Until the test result of your brother comes out. You may have a test for your self ASAP if you want to.

That's right, now I'm doing self-quarantine. But now I am worried about my mother's condition who is sick and needs attention and care.

@jrlcentral Of course. Previously, my brother and I took turns every day looking after and caring for my mother, who due to her health could not get out of bed. Now that my older brother is in self-quarantine, it is my left that looks after and cares for him. This is difficult.

You just need to keep your distance, wash your hands properly and use a cloth mask at least every 4 hours. It seems that now people have started to ignore health protocols.

Just stay calm and try to remain positive. He's tested, not yet confirm being infected with covid. There's no point panicking over things you aren't sure.

I still have to wait for the test results from my brother for the next two days. If the result is positive, of course we and our family will have to do the test, if it is negative then it is not necessary, because the cost of doing the test is very expensive, around $ 90 per person. So far I have been fine, only a few colds.
