Today’s November Writing Challenge is “A Reason To Celebrate.” I’m only speaking for myself, personally, not for others, but here are my reasons to celebrate right now. - It’s my Mom and niece’s birthday week (my Mom’s birthday was Monday and today is my niece’s birthday). - Getting through the pandemic together. - My health. - Thanksgiving. It’s a laid-back holiday that we celebrate at home. - My niece and I started our Christmas season today. She wanted to start it on her birthday, and I’m totally okay with that lol. (If it’s too early for anyone else, that’s fine, but let me be happy.) Alrighty, it’s time to work on this order. I fell asleep on the couch again, so I need to get started, especially since I’m planning to time myself tonight. See ya, everyone. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.

I love this writing challenge. There is always a reason to celebrate. I surely celebrate because I am healthy and we can go out, even if wearing a mask.

Thank you so much! And I agree; I'm glad we can at least go out to stores and such, even if we have to wear a mask (and I've always kept my distance so social distancing isn't a problem for me).

@LadyDuck Right. Like there is no reason to be in my personal space when there's enough space around us, pandemic or not. I always wear my mask. They're mandatory, but we started wearing them shortly before they became mandatory.

@tammys85 I have always liked to keep distancing, I dislike when people come too close. I wear my mask, I think I am pretty safe.

Those all sound like very good reasons to celebrate :) And nothing wrong with starting the Christmas season early!

Thank you so much! And agreed; it makes some of us happy and we don't force others to join us, so why not?
