Yesterday I was describing how many leaves covered my car and @crazyhorseladycx said she would like to see it. Because of the rain it is not as dramatic today but this is what my car looked like when I went out this morning to go to the Y. Plenty of color in Connecticut.
Anyone else want to share colorful pictures of Autumn?

I've shared a few of trees already but recently deleted them from my phone unless I can find them again.

Lol Al is very frustrated he wants to clean it up but we pay people to do it so I told him to just ignore it .

Hey, that looks exactly like my front yard right now! Replace the white car with my red truck, and you would think it was my home in Florida!

@BelleStarr I have bluff oaks and red maples and southern magnolias in my front yard, and silver maples, laurel oaks and pine trees in my back yard.

That’s okay I know what leaves look like lol Ohio and Connecticut are pretty similar. I’ve been all over the state of Ohio in my travels.

The trees are nearly bare here. I look out my window and I see one leaf hanging on to a limb, the wind will blow it off today. We did spy a tree that was holding onto its leaves yesterday. Little Miss pointed out how pretty the orange and yellow colors were.

aw, thanks! she's covered'n a sea 'f golds, eh? i can 'magine such without the rains. used to deal with such eons 'go back'n the hills. spend some time clearin' such off jest so i'd no 'hitchhikers' pop 'nto the truck when openin' the door, lol.
y'ave way more leaves'n myself, i'd love to rake those all 'nto a huge pile (when dry) 'n jest wallow 'round like a lil piglet'n mud.

lol We have a lot of big trees maples and oaks. The car was covered even more the day before the rain came.

Lovely golden hues but what a pain to clear up! Our trees are evergreen so no leaves dropping in my garden thankfully. I had a tree surgeon take down the ornamental cherry as it had gone loopy and was all over the place lovely to look at very pretty indeed but horrible when it dropped the blossom and leaves.
