Drinking Water...Sometimes it's Psychological

(Not a sponsored post). I am not really good in making sure that I drink enough water. I am more fond of coffee, smoothies, the occasional zero-calorie soda, and tea. Then I found this Facebook advertisement of a water bottle. I do not really need a water bottle, but this particular one caught my attention because it's got my favorite color combination on it. I am referring to The Coldest Water water bottle. I got mine in matte black and sapphire blue. Unlike any water bottle, this one has a wider neck so I can put ice cubes in it. It is so well-insulated and I have tried and tested that it indeed keeps the water cold for hours. I even found out that even after 24 hours, there are still some ice in it. I got mine in a 21 ounce size, which I am glad I did because it fits in my car cup holder easily. After getting this, I noticed that I tend to drink more water than usual. I like that the water bottle does not condensate and leave water marks all over the surface, and I love how the water stays cold. It's just a personal preference that my water is always cold. I know it's psychological, and it's not really a breakthrough but for me, this is huge. Even if the warm weather is gone, the dangers of dehydration is still present. It got me on Facebook. It is also highly hyped on Instagram for a while, and I think I was late jumping into the bandwagon.

@sophie09 I think the company who made this is a startup, and so to get popularity and exposure they resorted to social media. It kind of worked though, as I got sucked into it. I am satisfied with the product though. I even had it registered for a warranty. I forgot for how long it runs. But we'll see.

I know that feeling. Because my kids do that. They hate water, but if I put water in a bottle, my kids always finish it and ask for more.

This is why some business make a killing with product design and packaging. It does help if the package is very appealing to the consumer.

I carry a tumbler all the time. One, because I don't drink bottled water and two, it's convenient if I want to drink water often. That's a pretty water bottle. Unfortunately I checked the price around here and it's around RM170++. Yikes! Must be the conversion cost.

It is quite pricey, so I bought mine from Amazon. I have prime so I get free shipping and I used a cash back app, called Rakuten, so I get some cash back from the purchase.

I think that I have never drank the amount of water that people say we are supposed to drink. Yet it depends on many things. I drink more liquids in summer with the exception of warm of hot soups which I drink more in winter.

That's the good thing, is we can "eat" our water or fluids. Like, fruits have some water content, or soups and smoothies can also help with hydration.

So that water bottle motivates you to drink more water a day. That is good.

It does, I know it sounds weird but if it helps me to hydrate daily then I am all for it.
