It becomes my concern for quite sometimes. My little daughter is gonna be 3 years old by the end of this November. She doesn't eat except snacks like chips and candy. But she drink milk everyday (UHT milk with chocolate flavor) around 500ml / day. She doesn't eat rice, or veggies. Sometimes she eat fish and meat (just sometimes). I am afraid it will affect her growth. I feel like I've done everything, but she still like that.
What do you think?

It could have long term effects. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? All types of foods need to be eaten in moderation, sure, but kids need to start to learn this when they're young. Chocolate flavor or not, milk is still pretty healthy. But, other than that, watch her for health problems, and try to get her to eat more balanced meals. Even if you get her to eat a few bites.

@Cheyee Then you shoud not be too concerned about her diet. Given her age, sounds like she's doing pretty well.

OMG, the teeth! So cute!!!
Children are often picky eaters. Will take time for them to outgrow it. Have you try camouflaging the food? Meaning use what she like while inserting what she don't inside. Have you heard of rice nugget? They made nugget from chicken meat, rice and veggie.

@Cheyee it's not but it's can be made. Make them like making sausage but adjust the ingredient to include the healthy stuff. After all there are various type of sausages. Nothing wrong with experimenting as long as they're edible and taste good

I would not have chips and candy available, then she would not eat them. Kids get very set in their ways about food. Maybe you could find something like banana chips to add variety. Does she like fruit? Most children do. Veggies are better for them, but fruit is good too and is naturally sweet.

Chips and candies are junk food. It is advisable not to put such items in your grocery cart.
Some children could be picky with food. You have to find your child's taste. Try pizza and spaghetti, or sauteed noodles. Children usually love these.
Try presenting food inviting, like a perfect sunny side up with fried sausages on the side. Children gets delighted with food presentation. It might perk the appetite.
Consult your pediatrician for correct milk and vitamins,

@Cheyee What about mashed potatoes or french fries, boiled eggs, porridge, pumpkin soup, cheese rolls? So long as it's not candy or chips.

I think she doesn't like carbs. She doesn't eat fries, noodles (even instant noodles). The only carbs that I can make her to taste is sweet potato (just sometimes) I seasoned it with garlic and salt then deep fried it. But she likes fritters. We have this traditional dish named bakwan. It made from flour and chopped vegetables and then deep fried it. I just afraid fritters is not healthy.

Very much. Her brother used to hate rice too. But he loves meat and potato. So I wasn't worried

She's a cutie!
My daughter turned two last September.
She is also a picky eater sometimes.
Her doctor recommended Vitamin C and once prescribed a capsule for the poor appetite.
Now she's still a bit picky to some but eats a lot than before and if it's her favorite.
